on the Transnational Startup Lab (TSL) Programme
Can you briefly describe the aims of the
Transnational Scaling Lab (TSL)? Why do we
need a Transnational Scaling Lab?
One of the top priorities of the European
Commission in Horizon 2020 is to boost
potential growth in the current context of low
economic growth, and to tackle high rates of
unemployment (especially amongst young
people) and unmet social needs. The TSL could
be an answer to this. For us the concept of ”less
is more” is very important. Transition TSL aims
to identify and accelerate European social
innovation projects with high potential to scale
through the implementation of an agile
methodology. The common framework for
scaling social innovation that Transition
partners developed together is important in this
respect.
