My Chaplain
Being a faith based, “commercial”
publication, Texas Woman is a constant work
in progress. As far as I know, this is the first
American publication of its kind.. Either a
magazine Is “Christian,” or a commercial
compilation of make-up tips, articles on how
to get a boyfriend, diet tips, etc. The two have
never met in the middle. Why? I don’t really
know, because life encompasses every part of
the human, and divine, spirit.
More than any other time in history, faith HAS
to be the cornerstone and foundation of how
we live our lives. This magazine is dedicated
to human need. By telling our neighbor’s
personal stories, we are able to achieve a
transparency of the heart, and therefore build a
bridge of common communication.
Many people have told me this magazine
makes them “feel good.” That is very
interesting to me, because many of the stories
are heart wrenching and confrontational.
Apparently people are craving truth and basic
common sense
So....here comes a very challenging article.
It’s intention is to challenge your own belief
system, and redefine what is truly important
in this world. This article was written by a
respected Chaplain who has been serving
The Lord for over thirty years in Law
Enforcement, the Armed Forces, EMS, our
Veterans, abused, molested, and neglected
children, as a family counselor, and has
served in many churches as an Ordained
Pastor. Chaplain Gene Brack has created a
5013-C, to counsel the people who simply do
not have the money to get the help.
His heart is for Jesus and His people-NOT a
billion dollar TV network, overindulgent big
dollar ministries, etc. As you read this article,
remember that Jesus did not have a “church”JESUS WAS THE CHURCH..

“MY CHAPLAIN”

Where is God ?
The purpose of the New Testament book of Hebrews calls for continued persistence in faith
toward God. It often warns against turning away from Jesus to pursue other interests e.g. “
…we must pay more careful attention…so that we do not drift away..” ( 2: 1 ).
Words of encouragement and warning appear constantly in Hebrews, but the book ends
with, “…be thankful…” We ought to be thankful for all of our blessings! They are just as
numerous as the song enumerates, “… count your many blessing, name them one by one
and it will surprise you what the Lord has done.”
Also, we should thank God for giving His Son to redeem mankind. It ought to be done in
a persistent manner with thankful loving hearts for our Lord’s sacrifice. The Apostle Paul’s
discourse in I Corinthians 11 : 24 - 26 presents an example we can follow as a remembrance.
The title of our message is to stimulate one’s thinking as to where God may be found!
In modern society we look about and see different buildings with a sign identifying the
place as a “ Church.” Listed on the signs are the times they meet. On the minds of many
individuals, regrettable, they have come to believe; a name, a building and the given time
for meetings are the practiced ways & means for worshipping and serving their God. The
result of such thinking is, as some would answer the title question, “ God must be in the
sanctuary and so let us go to “ Church.”
