There are some amazing people in life that have beauty,
talent, intellect and “The Light” around them. Those
special people permeate the atmosphere of any room and
bless anyone that is lucky enough to be graced by their
presence. One such beauty is my friend, Rita Verreos:
Hispanic editor of Transforming Today’s World. I have
always loved the city of San Antonio and its rich Hispanic
culture which reflects a wealth of great people, great
cuisine, The River Walk, The Spurs, The Rodeo, Fiesta
and so much more. But my heart has called out to me
to promote the amazing artistic talents of our Hispanic
community. Flourishing secretly behind the scenes, a vast
group of musicians, artists, writers, film producers and
performers are not comparably promoted to the potential
of other large cities. I cannot imagine a more perfect choice
than Rita to discover and promote special Hispanic talents
and artists from the great city of San Antonio. Needless to
say, all great cities NEED a strong and cohesive art scene
to continue to grow and to thrive. But art that is closeted
behind the scenes needs to eventually meet the person
who says: “Let me promote you to the world!”
