Nothing says America better than the amazing heart,
dedication and spirit of Darlene Gleason. In her tireless
effort to lift up, help and provide housing for our veterans
returning home from battle, Darlene has created one
of the most innovative and restorative programs
for convalescing veterans in America. Based out
of Houston Texas, Darlene will be building
facilities to house wounded veterans and their
families. Recovery can sometimes be a long
and arduous process, but through the love
and support of their families, our veterans
will receive a human gift that far surpasses
medical treatment! This amazing program
was the dream of Darlene’s late husband
Mike and her courage and strength has
made Mike’s dream a reality. “Since I lost
my husband I want desperately to honor
him. He loved his country and he loved
his family. Creating Empowering Warriors is
my gift to Mike- to honor his desire to help
our veterans...it is a labor of love to me.”
May God continue to bless this great woman and
may Empowering Warriors become a continuing
symbol of how America became the greatest country
on earth. TTW is honored to represent this great
charity and encourages all of our readers to contribute
whatever they can to Empowering Warriors. It is by
the sacrifice of our service men and women that
