It actually customises workplace training to the learning capacity of each employee, allowing employers to measure how an individual is applying their new knowledge to their specific job function.

As for the actual training, I experienced this being delivered in bursts of three to five minutes over my smartphone and tablet using gamification.

This is the use of popular short arcade style games and social elements like team involvement, leader boards and reward systems as a means of driving employee engagement and motivation. And I have to admit, the use of gamification in this environment did bring out the competitive spirit in me.

There is no doubt, exciting advances lie ahead for the training and development industry, the worst thing you can do is stand still.

Not to be left on the side-lines, I am pleased to confirm that biz-group will exclusively represent Axonify, the first and only of these smart solutions to come to market in the GCC.

Does it mean that we will do away with traditional face-to-face training sessions? No. But we will definitely start to think more about how training is reinforced and applied within the workplace.
