Programs
The Institute has the exclusive right to grant the Certified Municipal
Manager (CMM) designation to qualified members. The program is
designed to recognize and develop an administrator’s education and
employment experience. It evaluates members in these two major
categories by means of a points system. Accreditation partnerships with local
government associations provide access to over thirty profession-
specific enhancements to the CMM.

The Institute provides a comprehensive training program delivered to corporate members through
in-house seminars and Accreditation Partner workshops. Seminars are conducted by our highly
qualified, renowned facilitators. Our staff and facilitators are happy to develop a program that is
custom tailored to the needs of the corporate group, while still meeting the needs of the CMM core
curriculum.
