9) BBP - The Case of the Potential Needlestick
The purpose of this video is to teach and reinforce the concepts of
bloodborne pathogens and how to protect yourself in order to prevent tragic
accidents. In particular, it deals with how to avoid contact with potentially
infectious bodily fluids as well as contaminated sharps such as needles. Use
this BBP - The Case of the Potential Needlestick Video presentation to train
your workers on bloodborne pathogens.
10)
Behavior-Based Safety for Supervisors
In this session we’re going to talk about behavioral safety, also known as
behavior-based safety. Although most safety programs and research
center around safe work practices and engineering solutions to safety and
health problems, those strategies are not likely to have the desired effect
if you don’t also have an effective way to encourage employees to engage
in safe behaviors every day on the job..
11)
Bloodborne Pathogens - General
This Bloodborne Pathogens - General session is intended for any
employee who is likely to be exposed to potentially infectious bodily
fluids, such as first-aid responders, janitorial staff, maintenance
personnel, and personnel assigned to clean up after an industrial
accident. COMPLIANCE NOTE: Trainees must have an opportunity
for interactive questions and answers with the person conducting the
video. Bloodborne pathogens training without the opportunity for a
discussion period would violate the law.
