The Gray Town How long has it been? A few months? Weeks? Years? I can’t remember, just that the monster roams free, and leaving me in this monochrome hell. It’s foggy, black mass with the glowing eyes hiding within the poor people of the city... why did it pick me? Why choose me? The monster is on the prowl again. I can see it slithering around the shadows. It's looking for something, following a girl by the looks of it. I think I know her. Oh...oh no...not her. Oh I knew her. I knew her very well, but...what was her name? It's amazing that she still wears the necklace I gave her, but her name, and that monster...what does it want with her? She's suffered so much because of that thing. I can only watch it wrap it's tendrils around her neck. I feel so helpless, but if it sees me, I'll be gone forever. Just like what happened to the one before. I look away so I wouldn't see it kill the defenseless girl, but there was no blood. There was no killing.
