Emotionless, uncaring of feelings or light. So misunderstood, But you are much more Than that. You hold it all inside, Your green feeling of happiness, or red anger. The passion comes through the plants, The swinging grasses, the tomato garden, The surrounding pond reflecting your life’s work. Work that is your dedication, to serve, to make every moment of task.. Perfect. With precision and a distant, but flowy ease, You conquer the simple things. The little things. I admire your integrity, your diligent nature, literally. But it isn’t always so spotless. One wrong move on the game of chess, Holding yourself up to almost, your God’s judgement. Throwing rocks at your soul, Obsessed with feeling inadequate at your core. The lava will spill out, Sometimes at 2 AM, occasionally broad daylight. Knowing how to cool off, But trapping the heat in your heart, And forgetting it was there in the first place.
