Hunters not only participate in animal killings for population control, but for fun as well. We all could find someone out there that hunts just for the fun of it, whether it is a family member or even someone in our own backyard. The truth is, most do not even take the time to realize what effect they have on their environment. Among us there are already thousands of species that are becoming extinct or endangered, some of them even national symbols such as the Giant Panda, originated in China. Not only is the species hurt, but the individual families among the species is as well. Most hunters want the animal with the most meat, so they go for the biggest of the bunch, which usually means the adult. Once they kill the adult, not only have they killed just one animal, they have killed the babies as well. Most young need their parents to help obtain food and provide for them. Without their parents, the animals are left to suffer and defend themselves in the new world alone.

What if humans ended up being killed by someone entering into their home? This experience happens to many animals everyday. They are helpless creatures that do not have a say, due to the fact they can not speak the way we do. Think about if one day you woke up and one of your family members were gone and you never saw them again. That is happening in the world of thousands of animals, and they have no way to stop it.

Together our society can continue to address the issue that hunting has become and make the world a safer place. That doesn’t mean that we have to give up hunting all together, because we do need our animals as resources to survive, but we can work to protect our wildlife that makes the world better for the life thriving on it.
