Reliion

Religion

Rising from cultures and lands and minds

Comes a small thing called religion

Easy to define, yet hard to describe

The cross, the Buddha, the Star of David

Living in a certain religion often dictates one’s

Life, education, marriage, diet, and worship

It is a sticky subject, as History shows

Millions of bloodbaths and crusades and martyrs

Growing or sinking as populations change

May not affect one’s worship or beliefs

If one believes in a God, many gods, or something else,

Beliefs will permanently affect a single life.

One person is convinced they believe in the truth

And will compel of kill to spread the real ‘truth’

Nevertheless, any country, any land, any person

Is willing to die for the religion that impacts everyday life.
