Anato 2017: An interesting tourism showcase
Anato is the most important showcase about tourism which is developed in Colombia from 90th . It is a non-profit organization that has been growing and carrying out strategy in tourism industry.
This event opens the tourism calendar in Colombia and gathers the most important destinations and tourism operators.
This is considered as an opportunity to generate more and better alliances and contacts for those who are in the sector (professionals and bachelors students)
Around 32 states and at least 30 countries, 20.000 visitors, professionals buyers and more than 1.000 speakers try hardly to show up the relevance of the international and national tourism community around the world.
Each day, I feel happier about chosing tourism as my degree because according to Anato report, the professional visitors increased in this year about 15% comparing with the last years. It means tourism is becoming an influential for economic.
Visiting this showcase as an student from Unicolombo was a great experience. It gave me the opportunity to make professional contacts. But the most important and gratifying about this experience was that I had the chance to better known and understand my own country (cultures, gastronomic, music and typical dance).
