A cademic visits to three hotels in Cartagena de Indias, located in Bocagrande, took place on August 05, 2016. Third semester students from the Hotel and Tourism Services Management Program had the opportunity to learn some operating procedures in Milenium Hotel, Charlotte Hotel and Cartagena Azul Hotel in order to differenciate the characteristics that a hotel may have to get a specific categorization or rating, according to the regulation: NTSH – 009.
During the tour, the students could see all the hotels’ areas and all the types of hotel rooms such as: Suite, Jr. Suite, Standard or Classic, as well as the different types of beds: Queen, Twin and King Size.
