Environmental Pact at Unicolombo

Events trek

The Historic Center of Cartagena was declared by ICONTEC as a Sustainable Tourism Destination in 2015, and an important standard that let Cartagena get this national recognition as it was the involved in the promotion of different environmental programs with the purpose of protecting this World Heritage.

One of these programs is Limpiarte, an environmental preservation network for sharing experiences on environmental culture in the city.

In order to contribute to this environmental awareness, a number of dialogues were organized by Limpiarte, Centro Cultural Colombo Americano and Los Libertadores University. The last one took place on October 12th at Unicolombo Auditory, where the following committed entities and educational institutions signed an environmental pact: Tu Cultura Foundation, Los Libertadores University, Casa de las Palmas Hotel, Tecnológico de Comfenalco, Centro Colombo Americano, Unicolombo, Cotelco, Corpoturismo, Pacaribe, Sena, Asotelca and Serena del Mar. Students from Hotel and Tourism Administration Program were present.
