One of the basic subjects in the first semester of Hotel and Tourism Administration Program is Tourism Theory. Knowing this, first semester students prepared a dynamic activity in groups to share the information they discovered about a specific Colombian region or an English-speaking or a francophone country. The groups were organized like this:

1. Caribbean Region

2. Andean Region

3. Pacific Region

4. Orinoquía Region

5. Insular Region

6. English - speaking country: Canada

7. Francophone countries: Morocco and France.

An eighth group selected some important monuments of Colombia.

Besides the decoration of each stand with balloons and coloring posters, the students brought some typical food samples; from Colombia: arepa de huevo, empanada, cocadas, pan de bono, bandeja paisa, tamal, bocadillo, and chicha de maíz. From Canada: cupcakes with the flag of Canada, and from francophone countries: chicken tagine and crepes with banana and chocolate sauce.

The students demonstrated their knowledge about tourism and they also talked about the importance of each tourist attraction selected.
