Academic Trek
In order to apply the knowledge imparted in the subjects Foreign Language I, Foreign Language II and Foreign Language III, identifying the most important streets of the Historic Center of Cartagena de Indias, the Bachelor in Business in Tourism organized the second Walking Tour that took place last october 24th.
In this opportunity, the students told important facts related to the history, the legends and the main aspects of some streets. The groups responsible of this activity were 7th, 8th and 9th semester.
The Tour started at 8:00 a.m. in Tumbamuertos street and finished in Inquisition street. The activity was lead by professors Liliana Caparroso and Yina Julio.
The streets selected for this walking tour were:
Tumbamuerto, Estanco del Aguardiente
Don Sancho, La Mantilla, Santo Domingo, Callejón de los Estribos, Balocco, Ricaurte
La Inquisición, Las Damas and Amargura.
