My name is Yulys Paola Blanco Vasquez, I am nineteen years old and I am in 5th semester of the Bachelor of Business in Tourism and Hospitality Management at Unicolombo.
I decided to study this wonderful career because I've always been passionate about learning about culture, gastronomy, landscapes and world history, besides that, it is so great to make other people happy and that is what tourism is all about. So studying at Unicolombo gave me an advantage and a reason to study tourism and it is the English of the American Colombo with which the doors to the working world open up easier.
Since the first semester I did very well academically, my group of classroom project and I always stood out for presenting interesting research proposals and business idea and besides that I did my best job and I could finish the English courses in the second semester of the year 2017.
It was a great fortune that starting the fourth semester I received a call with great news that was that due to my effort and dedication in the third semester I would receive an honor registration in the fourth semester. It was very satisfying for me to know that my efforts were paying off and although at that time my life was not so stable, this great news was a push to keep going as I always dreamed it.
The most wonderful thing was to receive a second call "for your great job in the fourth semester you will receive an honorary registration for the fifth semester" these words invaded my body of happiness and a shout of thanks to God made me once again feel proud of me, but there is nothing better than making my parents feel proud and that is what now swells my heart with happiness.
But all this I have not achieved alone, if it were not for the grace of God, the support of my parents, the energy of friends and the great teachings that teachers have left me. I give all these people my most infinite, THANK YOU!
