These two musicians also gave a demonstration with the saxophone, playing their own songs. They also showed some videos to explain the jazz evolution and to let know the assistants some important jazz players.

This event was very important to students to discover that it is necessary to know not only how to speak English, but the cultural context of this language. The musicians were very spontaneous what let the students know more about jazz music and its history.

As the event was lead in English, it was also a great moment to practice. It was a good way to listen carefully to improve the pronunciation and the listening skills. The students who dared to ask some questions, had the opportunity to practice their oral expression, one of the most necessary communication skills.
