New French students at Unicolombo

We are 3 girls from Le Havre in France. We decided to study tourism at Unicolombo, to discover a new culture, a new way of study and to improve our Spanish. We wanted to discover another way of living and thinking. Indeed, we do a Bachelor in Tourism.

We love to travel. That is why we are here. For this moment, we went to Santa Marta, Tayrona Park, Bogota and Rosario Island. We scheduled also to go to Medellin, Cali, in the Tatacoa Desert, San Andrés or Barranquilla for instance.

Colombian culture is very different than the French one. Human relations are different: here people are closer than in France. They are more open minded and lovely, and it can be amazing sometimes because we are not used to this behaviour. Moreover, the courses at Unicolombo are very different than the French courses. However, it is very interesting to discover new way to living because it helps us being open-minding.

To go to Colombia was a big decision for us. Indeed, it was our first long trip and long way from our parents. This experience is very enriching: it brings us an autonomy, an independence, an open-mind and a maturity.

Indeed, we arrived in Colombia alone and we could not depend of our parents.
