TOURISM TODAY

My name is Veronica Cuadrado, and I finished my Bachelor of Business in Tourism and Hospitality Management at Unicolombo six months ago.

Thanks to the Unicolombo mobility programs, I was in Panama City taking a Seminar in International Tourism Development. The experience was amazing: Albrook mall is the biggest mall I have ever seen in my life. UMECIT, the host university, was wonderful too, I mean, the teachers and the students were very friendly.

Refering to the city, it is a place with a lot of buildings, banks and casinos. Panameños are friendly. It is a beautiful place where you can come back!

Fourth years ago, I worked at Radisson Cartagena Hotel, an important hotel on the north side of Cartagena.

First, I worked as a hostess at Palenque Restaurant. I received the dinner guests and I recommended them our menu.

After this first experience, I worked as a telephone operator, answering the phone and helping the guests. Then, I worked as a receptionist and as a cashier too.

Nowadays, I work as a group coordinator at Radisson Cartagena Hotel, doing group reservations, and providing services to the tour conductors, according to the groups requirements, I mean, with the rooming list, the billing and another detail from the group.

Choosing Unicolombo was a wonderful decision, because now I am a professional, like I always dreamed of.

I recommend everyone choose Unicolombo because is the best decision that you could take it!

Thanks for everything, Unicolombo.
