TOURISM TODAY

Hello everyone!

My name is Dabinson Arellano Santoya, I am nineteen years old, and I live in Arjona. I am in 5° semester of the Bachelor of Business in Tourism and Hospitality Management at Unicolombo. I graduated from high school two years ago at the school: Institución Educativa Técnica Industrial Don Bosco in Arjona- Bolivar.

I started to study at Unicolombo thanks to a scholarship I received through the Ceres alliance, between Unicolombo and the government of Arjona. I am studying this career because I think that tourism is an important sector in the city of Cartagena. It also gives me the opportunity to meet and interact with people from other countries.

English language opens the door of the job opportunities. This is one of the most spoken language in the world, so I consider that Centro Colombo Americano is the best institution offering English learning courses. What I like the most, are the subjects related to accounting and budget. I am very good at these kind of subjects. Once I finished my first career cycle, I would like to start the professional cycle in Hotel and Tourism Administration, because I dream of working in the administrative area.

I thank God and the university for giving me the opportunity to study.
