CPL COMMUNITY Share your voice! Many of you will be familiar with self- advocacy. Self-advocacy is about making sure that your desires and needs are made clear. It’s explaining your feelings and thoughts, and asking for what you want. With the introduction of the NDIS, and with it choice and control, your opinions are more important and powerful than ever before. Throughout 2019, CPL will be launching a range of initiatives designed to help you share your voice and influence the services you receive now and into the future. ABILITY FORUM The Ability Forum is an exciting new online community giving you the opportunity to have your say. By participating in short online surveys, you can help to improve services to people with disability, and make the NDIS work better for you. Plus, you’ll earn rewards points for every survey you complete which you can put towards shopping vouchers and gift cards.
