Sometimes options for people with disability after school can be limited.
At CPL, we believe anyone can do anything with the right support.
Unsure of what life looks like after school? We’ve reviewed a range of the
transition to work pathways we offer, to keep you on track.
Transition to Work
Transition to Work programs support students and young jobseekers to enter the workforce
to pursue their passion. This includes supporting students in high school, TAFE or at university
with on-site campus support services and support teams. Transition to Work programs also
offer tailored pre-employment training, including interview preparation and work experience
to help you get a job you love.
SWEET
Student Work Experience and Employment Training (SWEET) supports students with a
disability, school leavers and young people to transition to the workforce and do something
they love. Whether pursuing a career, apprenticeship or traineeship, SWEET can support you
though tailored pre-employment training, on-the-job support, and work experience. It also
offers professional support and guidance, career planning, practice interviews and access to
specialised equipment, tools and workplace modifications.
Skill Development Programs
Want to learn fishing, sailing, woodwork, photography, cooking, or art? Or do you want to
get your driver’s licence or be fit for life? Our life skills and creative programs will give you
the tools you need to live independently, move around in your community and achieve your
goals! We have a range of programs available so you can follow your passions, whatever they
may be.
Australian Disability Enterprises
Australian Disability Enterprises (ADEs) are commercial enterprises that
support people with disabilities to participate in a variety of workplaces.
ADEs provide supported opportunities for people with disabilities
to enhance their skill and workplace experience, and to      find
meaningful employment within their community. At CPL,
Mylestones Printing is our ADE. Mylestones Printing
employees more than 40 people who specialise
in customer service, direct mail, digital
printing, and binding and laminating
services.
