What do you love about working at CPL ?
I love working for CPL because we actually support people to live the life they choose . It ’ s not just lip service , it ’ s genuine .
I like how we are a business with a heart . We have worked hard to make sure that our services operate as efficiently as possible to be a professional business , however , we have done so in a such a way that we can always remain focussed on the people we support . We are already starting to see that this is leading to better outcomes for all .
I am fortunate to lead such a wonderful organisation that is full of so many dedicated and passionate people . CPL has such a bright future ahead under the NDIS .
Because the scheme is so new , so large and nothing like it has ever existed before in Australia , there will inevitably be some challenges along the way . But that doesn ’ t mean the scheme isn ’ t working , it just means everyone is learning and adjusting to the new way of doing things , continually improving along the way . I am really passionate about providing excellent customer service and a great experience for every client and family who comes to CPL . Over the next year , I ’ m going to be visiting each and every service for ‘ listening lunches ’ to hear from our clients and employees on what we ’ re doing well and what we could do better .

What excites you about the future ?
The NDIS is a challenge and a big change for everyone , but it ’ s also exciting because for the first time we ’ re able to support more people to achieve their goals . I ’ m excited because it will give so many more people and their families the chance to really live the life they choose .
