Salvete!

These past months have gone by so fast! The final constitutional amendment passed at Spring Planning Meeting, and it was passed by the ACL. The officer videos discussing each office were posted on Instagram, and I highly encourage everyone to check it out. Feel free to reach out to me regarding running for national office at my email, [email protected]. I will answer any questions you may have. I sent an email to the state chairs so they may encourage qualified students to run for national office. I have sent the state chairs an email containing all of the passed Constitutional amendments. The deadline to file for office is right around the corner (June 15, 2019). Make sure you have those forms turned in to me by the deadline. You may find the information on the website by clicking on this link: https://www.njcl.org/About-Us/Candidates-for-NJCL-Office.

Salvete NJCL!

It's hard to believe how fast this year has sprung by. A pro to that, however, is that nationals is approaching quickly. This past spring, I've continued work on the Photo of the Month contest, I oversaw all the awesome things you guys did for National Classics Week, and I've been communicating nonstop with historians. I've shared scrapbooking resources with state historians, and I'm beyond excited to see what you all craft up for nationals. With that being said, I've also begun work assembling the NJCL Scrapbook. If you are (or can reach out to) a state historian, I encourage you to submit chapter photos and memorabilia to the national scrapbook! This way, you'll be able to see all the achievements and events you participated in this year alongside the rest of our state chapters. Information on how to submit may be found in the announcements section of the NJCL website. As always, my inbox is always open to any questions you may have leading up to national convention! I cannot wait to see all your friendly faces in Fargo soon.
