These past few months, I primarily worked on Campaign Corner. Despite some difficulties with viewing the document online, everything has been updated. It is now viewable on the website under the "Candidates Running for National Office" page and via a link on Facebook. I highly recommend taking a look at it if you are interested in running for office. I drafted the Campaign Regulations and included it in the Campaign Corner as well. At SPM, Mr. Webb and I proposed constitutional amendment No. 2 to the executive board, and it passed. The seven constitutional amendments proposed and passed at FPM were approved by the ACL. The officer videos about running for office were filmed at SPM, and I am working with NJCL Historian Jesse Hogan to edit them. If you have any questions regarding running for office, please email me at [email protected].

Salvete!

Since you’ve last heard from me, I’ve been able to begin and continue work on a variety of projects. I’ve continued running the Photo of the Month Contest and forwarding historian-related information to both the JCL Historians Facebook page and the historian email list I have assembled. Along with your editor Anika, I helped run both local and state historian/editor Skype calls to answer some of your questions and discuss topics from scrapbooking, to photo editing, to tracking down content for scrapbooks and publications. Through some research, I’ve also worked to track down past NJCL Scrapbooks, collecting the online links and publications to be added to the current NJCL archives. Finally, I’ve been discussing and working with historians to ease the submission process to the national scrapbook, which should be released momentarily. I with the committee and board recently attended Spring Planning in Washington, D.C., and we’ve all been hard at work preparing for National Classics Week and Convention! Stay pumped, JCL. There’s a lot coming your way soon!
