Amici!

I hope you’re all doing well. I’ve recently returned from our Spring Planning Meeting in Washington, D.C. where the national board has been as busy as bees. We worked on National Classics Week, convention details, contest judging, and so on. There’s so much to look forward to! I’ve been working on the #JCLove campaign for February, helping Aleah with National Classics Week, and Skyping with JCL Vice Presidents on the state and local level. As for the Club of the Month contest, I’m incredibly proud to say that we have raised an average of $2,959 each month! That’s all thanks to the hard work of so many dedicated students in the JCL. I am so excited for National Classics Week and the national convention this summer!

Salvete!

Throughout the past few months, I have spent most of my time as NJCL Communications Coordinator on the website contest. I provide assistance to local and state webmasters and grade the entries for the monthly website contest. I have also begun recognizing one webmaster each month who has performed very well in the website contest. I most recently have enjoyed attending Spring Planning Meeting. The officers were hard at work planning convention and National Classics Week. Be on the lookout for a fun promotional video for National Classics Week that we filmed in Virginia! In the coming months, I am excited to continue my work on the website contest and join the other NJCL officers in further preparation for convention and National Classics Week.
