Australia to compete at the Shorthorn Youth Expo and Royal Melbourne Show respectively
come true for me having recently started my own
‘Limited Edition’ Speckle Park stud in Orini, Waikato.
I was invited to parade cattle for Jason and Sarah Keays,
of Fish Creek Farm and had the pleasure of leading Fish
Creek Farm Victoria's Secret M15, a yearling heifer.
Jason has bred multiple show ring champions, including
FCF Thunderstruck, FCF Lightning and FCF Storm. This
year Speckle Park was the feature breed at the Royal
Melbourne show, which meant there was a turnout of
over 90 Speckle Park. I got to met big Australian
breeders with major Speckle Park studs and talked over
opportunities for returning and growth for my stud in
the future.
