ASA Nationals
In September 2017 Lucy Collin, Emma Pollitt and Amy Hoogenboom travelled to the
Melbourne Royal Show to compete in the Agriculture Shows Australia National Finals
for Beef Cattle Parading, Meat Breeds Sheep judging and Merino Fleece judging
respectively.
The girls had to compete against 7 other finalists, one from each state in Australia.
Emma and Lucy both placed 4th in their finals, while Amy was Runner-up Champion in
the Merino Fleece Judging. The girls should all be extremely proud of how they
performed, for many of the young Australian competitors stock judging and parading
competitions make up a large portion of their life and may compete at a show every
other weekend during the A&P Show season.
