Heesen Interiors has been cre-
ating luxury yacht furniture
for over 30 years. The new site
brings a four-fold increase in
Heesen’s interior production
area. And all so that exquisite
furniture for yachts, which
are becoming larger, is deliv-
ered on time. Heesen Yachts
is one of the few shipyards in
the world that has its own full
workforce of cabinetmakers,
upholsters, joiners, polishers,
painters and draftsmen.
At the yacht exhibition in
Monaco, which this year will
be held from September 25-
28, visitors will have the won-
derful opportunity to see and
assess the work of the Heesen
Yachts Interiors division. The
sh ipy a r d w i l l pr e sent it s
55-meter yacht Vida for the
first time to the general pub-
lic. Its interiors were painted
by B Design. The Heesen Inte-
riors division was kept busy
throughout the process, as at
the request of the yacht own-
er, for example, original wine
cabinets were installed in the
main cabin around the en-
trance archway.
The ow ner of V ida is
a highly experienced yachts-
man and enthusiastic fisher-
man from the USA. At his re-
quest, almost all the interior
furniture was custom-made,
and the yacht was custom-
ized to suit his active fishing
lifestyle and to act as a base
for his sports fishing fleet of
smaller vessels to refuel and
replenish stocks.
