While some are calculating their
losses due to the pandemic, and
some are developing scenarios
for private events for the customers
due to the cancellation
of major boat shows this year,
Heesen has quickly rescheduled
its production process in accordance
with the new rules and
regulations. Two yachts have
already been launched at the
shipyard during the pandemic.
The second one, handed over
to the client in August, was the
55-meter Solemates.
Solemates differs from other
55m yachts launched by Heesen
with a completely new living
space layout and an impressive
760 gross tonnage interior. The
yacht accommodates six double
cabins on its board, making
it a serious competitor to larger
yachts. In addition, the layout
of cabins, saloons and other
useful spaces on board of Solemates
is absolutely the same as
on a megayacht. A 82 m2 master
suite is located on the main
deck and is divided into a study,
a bedroom and dressing rooms.
VIP cabins are located on the
deck above - on the bridge, and
four standard guest cabins are
on the lower deck; two of them
are easily converted into cabins
with two separate berths (ideal
for children or assistants who
travel with you).
What else unites Solemates
with megayachts is a perfectly
planned wellness area at the
stern of the lower deck: a fitness
room and a beach club with
all the necessary infrastructure
- from showers to comfortable
chairs, and, of course, a wide
bathing platform. The bow of
the yacht accommodates a garage
for cutters and “water toys”,
which has become another popular
solution in recent years.
Those who prefer not to go far
from the tents and the bar while
sunbathing, are welcomed on
the upper deck. To cut a long
story short, it’s an ideal yacht!
