D R E A M B OAT
In September 2019, we were lucky to be giv-
en the opportunity to board the 90-meter
DreAMBoat, a yacht that was launched sev-
eral months earlier having been built in just
18 months.
Its interior was designed by Terence
Disdale, famous in the yachting world,.
He worked in tandem with another celeb-
rity yacht designer and his longtime friend
Espen Oeino, who designed the exterior
of the yacht. And two geniuses came togeth-
er to produce a masterpiece. It was diffi -
cult to fi nd among the new yachts in Mona-
co a boat that creates a more harmonious
and calm environment and with such a so-
phisticated interior and elegant and engag-
ing exterior lines. The interior of DreAM-
Boat was designed in the style of a luxury
hotel in Southeast Asia, and includes several
wicker furniture items, and in some rooms
ceilings covered with material woven from
coconut fi ber. The owner of the yacht tasked
the shipyard with creating a boat on which
three generations of his family could travel
with pleasure.
DreAMBoat has already made its fi rst
cruise, and the owner’s representative told
us that the family’s favorite onboard feature
was the jacuzzi on the sundeck. The own-
er of the yacht also has a personal jacuzzi
on their private deck. In addition to the ex-
ceptional interior, DreAMBoat has an envi-
ronmentally friendly approach to organiz-
ing life on board. For example, it boasts an
on-board heat recovery system for drinking
water, and the yacht has been awarded ECO-
IHM status, which demonstrates an over-
all commitment to operating the vessel on
an environmentally sound basis beyond
statutory compliance.
