Embraer Executive Jets have introduced
an updated version of the popular light
business jet Phenom 300E, and the fi rst de-
liveries are scheduled for May this year.
The cost of the aircraft will be USD 9.65 mil-
lion. The new jet has two new Pratt & Whit-
ney Canada PW535E1 turbofan engines with
a thrust of 3,478 pounds each, which are
equipped with FADEC (PW535E engines were
installed on the predecessor). The range
of the aircraft is slightly higher, now reach-
ing 3,724 km (2,010 nautical miles, up from
1,971 nautical miles). The jet now has a maxi-
mum speed of Mach 0.80, up from Mach 0.78
on the previous Phenom 300.
The interior of the aircraft
has many similarities with the
Praetor 500/600 models. Cli-
ents are offered enhancements
such as the Bossa Nova interi-
or, which uses a combination
of classic and modern materials:
from silk and leather to stone
and carbon fi ber. The seats spe-
cially designed for this mod-
el can be fully folded and their
headrests and armrests extend-
ed. An elegant baldachin helps
to create a sense of privacy.
