Today, I’m going to teach you how to begin your
own home studio, so you can record quality demos,
videos, and songs for the whole world to hear, as they
are meant to be heard.
When most of us think of a studio, we think of a
massive recording consoles, speakers that can peel
paint off the walls, reel to reel tape decks, racks full
of outboard gear, with vintage Neumanns and AKGs
galore. While for many studios and artists that is still
the standard, the landscape of audio and recording has
changed quite a bit since the ‘70s. With the advent of
American companies taking full advantage of Far East
manufacturing and computers becoming cheaper and
more readily available, the world of audio recording
dominated by analog technology since its inception,
was taken kicking and screaming into the 21st century.
