what I’m doing, and I think that’s a good
recipe for success in today’s market.
TR: Do you think guitarists get intimidated
by the amount of features on your pedals?
JK: Yes, but my goal is not to control the
user’s experience. I let them do whatever the
hell they want. The thing I try to
communicate to users is that they shouldn’t
feel obligated to use all the features. They
are there if they want them. Sometimes I
think people believe “well I wouldn’t use all
of it so it’s not for me” but with an analog
pedal, if you find a handful of tones out of it
then you’ve succeeded. The beautiful thing
about my pedals is that you can save all
those settings and recall them whenever
you want while the signal path is still 100
percent analog. Y
