soon we noticed we had to start replacing
the chips. Then to our horror we saw in the
datasheet that the chips were only reliable
for 100,000 write/playback cycles. This is
totally reasonable for a looper, but for a
delay it meant that, with something like a
200 millisecond delay time (very typical of
course), the pedal would only work for like an
