535Q:
Like the 95Q, the 535Q has a Q
control so you can fine tune the
wah’s filtering structure. Also like
the 95Q, it has a volume boost only
with three more decibels on tap—
just be careful when you push the
red button. The feature that really
sets the 535Q apart from the others
is its range selector pot that dials in
the frequency range. This changes
the input capacitor and adds a
thickness to the wah sound. Some
say the 535Q gets its mojo from the
frequency range selector. Others
say its magic comes from the highquality op-amp inside. Either way,
this is a deluxe pedal worth checking
out—not to mention that the pedal
is true bypass.
So which one will it be? Are you
pressed for space and need the
mini? Maybe it will be the 95Q
with the ingenious auto-return
switch? Or maybe you prefer the
535Q to really want to dial in the
filter frequency and bandwidth?
Decisions, decisions...
