STEP 1:
Mount the LED (in bezel), input and
output jacks, footswitch and DC jack.
STEP 2:
Place the negative leg of the LED into the
appropriate footswitch lug and solder it
in. If it won’t reach, use a wire. Use the
saved resistor lead to span lugs 4 and 9
on the footswitch. Solder lug 4. DO NOT
solder lug 9.
STEP 3:
Here, we will ground the unit. Run a wire
from lugs 2 and 6 on the switch to the
negative lug on the DC jack (the one
unique lug, as opposed to the two other
identical-facing positive lugs). With each
new wire you run, solder the previous
connection point. Wire the DC jack to the
sleeve lug on one of the jacks, then wire
that sleeve lug to the other jack’s sleeve
lug. Leave the final lug unsoldered with
the wire in it.
