WAY HUGE CAMEL TOE Yep, Way Huge is finally reissuing the unfortunately named dual overdrive that combines a Red Llama and a Green Rhino into a single rock-tastic package. Guitarists have been clamoring since the re-launch of Way Huge for a Camel Toe reissue. Sure, the Green Rhino and Red Llama have been back in production for a few years now. But Mike Campbell of the Heartbreakers doesn’t use a Green Rhino and a Red Llama—he uses a Camel Toe and with it, creates some of the best sounds on Earth. For bonus points, the reissue Camel Toe adds a tone control to the Red Llama side. This should be great for those players who feel there is too much high-end in the Llama circuit. The Camel Toe reissue should hit stores in September. CUSACK PEDAL CRACKER Me, I’m a reluctant vocalist with a serious pedal habit . . . if only there was some way to hide behind—I mean, use—all of my pedals on my vocals. Thanks to the fine folks over at Cusack, I’ll soon have that option. The Pedal Cracker offers controls for Wet, Dry, and Gain and switches for Bypass and a momentary on-off switch. It also offers a mini-switch to allow for trails (in case you are running a delay or reverb). I’m looking forward to running some gritty vocals and probably some Beatlesesque rotating speaker vocals. POG and Whammy vocals are sure to be fun as well. I. Can’t. Wait. 12 TONE TALK // Best of Summer NAMM 2016
