The Lester G adds an Acceleration control for ramp speed and a compressor circuit, which smooths out the incoming signal for processing by the main Lester circuit. A Fast/Slow switch sits on the front of both Lesters for an authentic feel. ➊ ➋ FUZZEY ELECTRONICS ANNOUNCES FUZZ FACIN’ Fuzzey Electronics has announced its flagship pedal, the Fuzz Facin’, a pedal strongly influenced by vintage British sound devices that defined rock n’ roll in its heyday. The Fuzz Facin’ makes use of a full spread of hand-chosen, low-noise silicon devices for a smooth, singing fuzz tone that rises above the others. ➋ ➌ AGAVE AUDIO INTRODUCES THE CUMBRE PREAMP The Cumbre Preamp from New Mexico’s Agave Audio seeks to exist as the only tone sweetener you’ll need. The pedal is 100 percent point-to-point handwired for extremely low noise, with discrete components. Two switches adorn the Cumbre, one engages the pedal for an always-on tone enhancement, while the other engages a boost that ramps the gain up significantly, very useful for solos. ➌ 8 NOW PLAY THIS // Buzzworthy Gear
