GS WYLLIE MOONROCK Mr. Wyllie sadly passed away in recent years, but not before he left us with a whole mess of unique circuitry that was criminally unheard of outside his nearest and dearest fans. One such pedal was the Moonrock, an octave fuzz pedal that was so much more. Two knobs adorned the piece of space detritus: Volume and Fuzz. Such a rudimentary control scheme does call its inclusion into question, but let me explain. The Fuzz knob is nowhere near a typical fuzz control—past noon on the dial yields some decidedly alien swell effects, nearly two full seconds elapses between picking and bloom on its highest setting.
