Massive Effects G.O.A.F. (Recovery) skylinE idiotbox effects quickstep The G.O.A.F. delivers two vintage-equipped units into one crushing box, with each interacting with the other in an extremely musical way. The first side is a fully-germanium take on the old-school Baldwin- Burns Buzzaround, a grimy fuzz used by Robert Fripp. The second component is a vintage-inspired octave up, and the combination is enough to bring fuzz lovers to their knees. The Skyline is a highly dynamic fuzz that uses the power of a resistive filter to push the fuzz circuit, giving a super articulate fuzz effect. Instead of standard fuzz controls, you get a new set of frequency and sensitivity controls that give you access to never-before-heard fuzz textures. Each and every Recovery pedal is hand- wired, point-to-point for quality construction. The Quickstep is an interesting plot twist within the book of delay: the footswitch is a momentary type, so it is only active when your foot is depressing the switch. This gives you blasts of lush delay only when you want them, with a Trails switch that lets the repeats spill over into the bypass signal or choke off immediately when you release your foot.
