Hello to all of my guitar nerd friends ,
This has been a particularly difficult week to say the very least . Trying to wrap our minds around the catastrophe in Vegas has been impossibly painful .
So many thoughts , so many tears , so much senseless loss . Our hearts go out to everyone involved . We love you Las Vegas .
And of course , there ’ s the loss of our dear friend ,
Tom Petty . Mr . Petty was a staple for many of us — a pinnacle , a beacon , a lighthouse . Again , tears .
We all have ways of dealing with struggle and pain . Mine happens to be playing the guitar . My trusty ‘ 99 Guild Bluesbird and I cried many a tear this week . We expressed our fear and we felt the hurt . We grieved for the people of Las Vegas and the families coping with loss . We played and sang Petty . My guitar knows just what to say and can ease the sharpness of life .
All my love and faith in humanity .
The sun will shine .
