CARRERA
The inspiration for the Carrera came
from the Klon, I wanted to create
that slight mid push with a warm but
pronounced top end that you get from
a Centaur on low gain settings, that
subtle shove at the right frequencies
that makes everything sound better
and more alive, not to lose the amps
original tone, just make it a little better
but I wanted a different drive character
when pushed harder, more linear, more
natural.
Also I didn’t have a true low gain
overdrive available so it was conceived
to fill a gap in the product line up.
The TDX will do low gain but it’s a
completely different feel, I was looking
for that “amp but more” feel where you
can’t tell there’s a pedal on or if the
amps is working harder.
