TWA Dynamorph
This waveshape shifter is a truly unique
circuit that I’ve been experimenting with
for the last couple of months. I won’t go
into the somewhat convoluted control-
spec here (my detailed review can be read
here) but, what I can reveal is that logic
and theory can be chucked aside when
exploring this fluttering frequency mangler.
It’s almost more fun to not research this
pedal and follow intuition while riding
the cryptically-labeled dials. Tiny thunder
storms explode under each chord as the

affected signal wanes. White-hot needles
pierce the speakers in a Big-Black-Albini-
style headache tone at some settings.
Filtered zaps percussively pummel the attack
and decay when dialled in to do so and
many different forms of musical mutations
manifest as one twists the knobs. While
not for the faint of heart, experimentalists
will love whacking guitars, basses, synths
and drum machines into the aptly-named
Dynamorph. I am still being surprised by this
purple signal eater—highly recommended.
