to record digitally now, .
Arguably, in the age of home recording,
Boston’s debut resonates more than ever,
in ways many musicians and engineers
don’t realize. It showed it was possible to
make great music outside of the record
industry system, but its success was a
double-edged sword. Recording has never
been easier, but in the end it’s great songs
that people remember, with the way it
was made being a novelty. In that respect,
music truly is more than a feeling.
