JHS PEDALS MIXES IT UP WITH
THE SWEET TEA V3
The newest batch of Sweet Tea combines
two of JHS’s most popular circuits under
one hood. The Moonshine V2 sits up
front and adds a new Clean control that
works with the Proof switch and takes you
from low-gain to high-gain with a turn of
a knob. The Angry Charlie is on the right
side, giving you a dose of medium-to-
high gain brownness. The order can be
selected via the central toggle.
MXR UPS THE ANTE WITH THE
BOOSTER MINI
MXR has combined both its venerable
Echoplex Preamp circuit with the
whistle-clean Micro Amp and created
the Booster Mini. The Echoplex Preamp
sits up front and contains an internal
trimpot to set the desired level, and
then the external controls govern boost
amount and a new hi-cut filter that
shaves off any harsh high-end that might
occur within.
MOOER PUNCHES THE CLOCK
AT THE MOD FACTORY PRO
Mooer’s Mod Factory Pro takes the
original mini pedal and adds a ton more
features. Two independent channels
offer a total of 16 modulation effects,
each with their own Rate and Depth
controls and a third control that changes
depending on mode. There’s also a
global tap tempo, expression capability,
Leslie-style acceleration, stereo outputs
and more.
