B.C. Rich Bich Double Neck If a regular old Gibson-style double neck is simply not flashy enough for your tastes, then the wackos over at B.C. Rich have you covered. The B.C. Rich Bich Double Neck is totally nuts. This guitar simply will not be overshadowed by anything else on the stage. It is unapologetically pointy as hell, the 12-string side has six of its machine heads on the headstock and the other six on the body, and its lower bout is cluttered with a whole mess of knobs and switches. There’s a Varitone knob for engaging all sorts of filtering, standard volume and tone knobs, a phase reverse switch, coil- tapping switches, and a three-way mini- selector. As crazy as it looks, though, the Bich Double Neck is a very well-made guitar with neck-through construction, a solid nato body, Grover tuners, and quality hardware throughout. I don’t think B.C. Rich makes this guitar (or any double neck) currently, but used models can be had for under a thousand bucks. 30 TONE TALK // 6 Double Neck Guitars That Slay the Stage
