work on that and stuck a DMM inside
the Belle Deluxe . . . and that opened
the Pandora’s Box to other things, and
lead to the rotary speaker sounds,
the wah filter, and the bucket brigade
patch---which is like a dark analog
delay. We started with an Echoplex
sound, and then took the digital delay
part of it and leveraged it to conflate in
these other really famous delay types.
So that’s why we did it: because we
could, and it turned out really well.
