STEP 2: Using the clipped lead from the board instructions, thread it between lugs 4 and 9 on the footswitch, and solder lug 4, leaving lug 9 unsoldered. Now, we will ground the whole thing. The following points need to be connected together: Lugs 2 and 6 on the switch, both sleeve lugs of the jacks and the negative lug on the DC jack. Whichever order you solder them in, leave the last connection point unsoldered. I recommend one of the jack sleeve lugs—they have large holes. STEP 3: The pots have small metal tabs that prevent them from being mounted properly. Snap them off with pliers, then mount the circuit board and pots in the enclosure. Attach the knobs at this point if you wish. Connect all the stray wires to where they need to go, such as lugs 5 and 7 on the footswitch, 9v power wire from Volts pot, and the board ground wire. STEP 4: Finally, connect the input and output jack tip wires to lugs 9 and 8, respectively. Solder the as-of-yet unsoldered lug 9. ToneReport.com ToneReport.com 29 29
